Submission Preparation Checklist

As part of the submission process, authors are required to check off their submission's compliance with all of the following items, and submissions may be returned to authors that do not adhere to these guidelines.
  • The submission has not been previously published, nor is it before another journal for consideration (or an explanation has been provided in Comments to the Editor).
  • The submission file is in OpenOffice, Microsoft Word, or RTF document file format.
  • Where available, URLs for the references have been provided.
  • The text is single-spaced; uses a 12-point font; employs italics, rather than underlining (except with URL addresses); and all illustrations, figures, and tables are placed within the text at the appropriate points, rather than at the end.
  • The text adheres to the stylistic and bibliographic requirements outlined in the Author Guidelines.

Author Guidelines

Authors who wish to submit manuscripts to JIEEL must follow the guidelines below:

Manuscript Requirements

  • Manuscripts must be original works that have not been published or submitted elsewhere.

  • Articles may be written in English or Bahasa Indonesia.

  • Manuscripts should be between 5,000 – 8,000 words.

  • The manuscript must follow the journal template provided by the editorial team.

Article Structure

A typical manuscript should contain:

  1. Title

  2. Author(s) Name and Affiliation

  3. Abstract (150–250 words)

  4. Keywords (3–5 keywords)

  5. Introduction

  6. Literature Review

  7. Research Method

  8. Results and Discussion

  9. Conclusion

  10. References

Citation Style

JIEEL uses the APA citation style for references.

Authors are encouraged to use reference management tools such as:

  • Mendeley (recomended)

  • Zotero

  • EndNote

Submission Process

Manuscripts must be submitted through the journal’s online submission system via the journal website powered by Open Journal Systems.

Authors are required to register and upload their manuscripts through the system.
